Freaky cue ball

So we're playing full-rack rotation... I'm jacked up over the ball on the right, shooting the 9, the 10 is froze on the bottom rail. I put a little stroke on it, make the 9, the CB bounces very slightly, hits the edge of the cushion, pops straight up about 6 inches, and lands on the top of the rail, no bounce, nothing... like this:






I know Halloween is coming, but I've never had that happen before!

Bad surface on balls plus dirty table and humidity and chalk marks.
Playing a draw I could make the CB climb the OB, repeatedly.

Definately a great picture, though!

I had that happen to me about 2 months ago, on the end rail. Hard to believe unless it happens to yourself.
