Since our site is new and a lot of member has email me to say that it may be better not to charge for listing as I don't have the traffic to justify the price small listing fee and I agree.

Check out our new auction site www.BidOnCues.com. List and sell all your billiard related items Now!! Check out some great deals there as well on custom cues, tips and blanks.

Duc.

Your just giving the listing cost for free and they still pay a small percentage of the final sale price right? Just making sure I have it right.

Duc,

I'm certain that you have noticed something from those starting bids you have -

There is not one single bid as I post these words.
That should tell you something.

Yes, not enough buyers and traffic to the site, not to mention bad market! The way I see is that if the person is interested in the item, they will email me and negotiate (most of the time my price is negotiable to a degree). I am NOT going to list a $1000 going market cue at $500.00 just to get bids!!! I will be wasting both my and the buyers time who think he can get it at that price. I try to price my cues and item at going market rate and if it's not email me and let's talk if you are really interested in the item I'm selling. I'm easy to negotiate with and always looking for trade..up or down.

Sorry for delay Josh,

Yes the listing fee are free but the final value still apply. The site fee should give you the information you're looking for.

Hey Duc,
The overrall concept is good on the site. But there are several things that come to play (I am a web developer myself).
Look of the site. Could use a professional touch - logoworks.com can make custom graphics and logo for your site at $600.00.
The site browsing is a bit cumbersome... When you click on pool cues should show all the pool cues right away and then you should have a menu to drill down to the cuemaker, etc.
I could be here for a long time and tell you several things that could dramatically improve the hit rate and usability of the site but I will not.
Also keep in mind that people love to trade at AZ and your software is actually pretty good about that feature as well.
Just my 5 cents. If you want more details you can pm me or call me at 209-482-7768.
Thanks,

Thanks Tony,

I may follow up, this site is a portion of my web projects. I had intended this site to be used as an auction for billiard related items but at the same time, the wanted ads sections was going to be an area where members can submit their requests to have a custom cue made so that builders can submit offer of their work.

Or any members can submit their cue requirements directly to a cue builders store. My main goal is to get the builders and retailer on board first and then get the prospects and players on to this site. I'm sure there will be alot of changes over the years as the site progress.

My ideal vision was to have all retailers, builders and everything billiard related into this portal where transactions can be managed more efficiently. The main goal of the sites was to promote and market the awareness of custom cues builders that exist around the world. I sell tips and full splice blank internationally and I thought it would be cool if there was a site that was able to support this kind of relationships and transaction globally for this industry. Hopefully, the site will find it place in this industry when we kick it off.

Regards,
Duc.
