Free Bonus Ball about to start!

Vegas lost this match in their two singles games, and then also their final team game. They had huge leads in all 3 games, but played like turtles the whole time, having to settle for a single point in a shootout instead of 2 points in regulation. I had a small sweat with Luxury, and wanted to strangle all 3 of them for playing so freaking slowly.

I felt the same way... Then Adam missed after 6 points and I liked my end of the shootout...

Then came Mr. 0.

HAHA!

Double Ha, I win. I'm gonna let you google it because you tried to guarantee a negative. I will give you a hint though:

You don't need flash installed to access flash content.

There are some ass backwards ways to access flash on iOS devices, but nothing supported by Apple.

Anyway, even on a Mac (not iOS), with flash installed, the stream did not work on Safari, but it did work on FIrefox. Something is definitely wrong on their end, as this affected half the people that posted in this thread.

The teams that will do the best will be the ones that communicate with each other most effectively.

There is too much chatter amongst the players. They need a system, like 1 guy is the strategy guy, 1 guy is always looking at the score to make sure they are shooting the correct ball/pocket/player.

The way it is now, the player down on the shot has too much noise from his teammates.

I think the team that figures out a communication system that works for them well, will end up going far.

I have seen bits and pieces of BB but tonight was the first time I was able to watch a full match. I really enjoyed it. Adam Smith really impressed me with his first shoot-out. The back and forth all night kept the game exciting. For the life of me I can't understand how some people say it is too complicated, watch a game with commentary for 10min and you'll get it. Especially with the accent lighting and matching team jersey colours to pockets. I can't watch Fri or Sat but definitely want to see the NY and Houston rematch on Sunday..

Smith saved Putnam from a horrific foul. Putnam was wise to put Smith in for the Captain's choice. I think teams will communicate more and more and the personalities are going to come through and the characters will develop.

I don't need to google anything. Flash cannot be installed on iOS. Nice attempted thread-hijack, too bad it turned into a face plant for you.

Anyway, Schmidt had a good shot at it. Sucks to be Vegas.

Give this match on youtube a try also. NY won big, but this was by far my favorite match thus far. It just had a different feeling to me. I'm not sure if it was Scott in the commentating both, or the firepower that Nevel showed. But I enjoyed this match a lot more than the others (and I liked them all thus far).

All that is required is something that does the dirty work. It could be a cloud based browser solution or a remote desktop app. While Apple doesn't support adobe flash, natively, the apps are available in the app store. You don't have to jailbreak your phone or anything similar to acquire them.

There is a lot of flash content still out there, but there are means by which mobile users can get around the lack of native support.

I couldn't agee more iusedto. These guys are still trying to figure out the nuances of this team game. They will. Looking forward, who's team has the best players and the best chemistry? Who's team will be destined for division?

I would not be surprised to see a team, that is "ranked mid rated" on the what have they accomplished lately scale, find a rhythm, and take this thing off.

Teams with players that are major contenders on the tourney trail will be subject to more substitution. That's not rhythm inspiring. TEAMS that commit to BB, field the same team week in and out, figure out the game and their roles - IMO are the most dangerous over this long season.

You're so right. That NY/Houston rematch should be great. It'll be interesting to see how Lee keeps JJ and Earl from coming to blows. I wouldn't be surprised if Lee reaches a pre-airing understanding with them that outbursts like we saw last weekend will not be tolerated, and we end up seeing two subdued captains. Even so, it will be interesting to see if the underlying animosity affects the final outcome of the match.

Aww, man, that's cold. I felt so bad for John when he missed that ball. He's really into Bonus Ball. He sits in the stands and studies the other matches when he's not playing. We sat together when I was there two weeks ago, and he told me that he wants, and needs, to learn so much more about this game. He must be feeling really disappointed with his performance last night.

That's a good point.

Some more good points.

No, something is going on. Its not a Flash issue (I have flash installed, as I'm sure they do as well on their Mac's). I have video on Safari, just the wrong video...

Could you please try another browser when you have the opportunity? As an example many windows users have had issues on various streams when using IE. When they opt for FF, Chrome or Opera often times the issues are resolved. The good folks at Apple design Safari to expertly play content distributed via iTunes but not so much if you choose another content provider.
