Apparently, they're trying to get 40,000 entrants before they draw the names.

This was in the TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The 50 year Aramith leadership Contest will last at least untill the last day of December 2008 at 23:59:59 p.m. CET or will continue to a minimum of 40,000 entries being registered.

Free Cueball

I entered the contest last year or the year before. To my surprise I got a cueball with my name on it. Came in a velvet pouch with a small o-ring for a stand. Not bad for free.
