Hey guys/gals I just wanted to let everyone know that if they are coming to the Louisiana 9 ball open at White Diamonds I am offering free lessons that weekend at my home which is near by.

Saturday I have to attend a wedding, I may be free that evening, but will probably have to schedule anything for sunday. I have a very nice big table in home and great lighting and plenty of room to shoot. Just PM me if your interested in picking my brain.

I may possibly even be set up to do some video analysis also but am not going to say for sure....I just got to force myself to go get one. If I do I'll just justify it as pool related, as its one of the only things I spend anything on lol:thumbup:

happy new year

take some pics and post 'em after this goes down. maybe some videos too if the people being taped aren't too shy.

i gotta be honest i'd like to see your equipment and see you play a little. later man!

not great photos (from my webcam) but its a brunswick classic 8 1/2 ft (OS) I got the corners cut to 4 1/4 at the mouth, and 3 3/4" at the throat. Nice quick play, its not quite as tight as say a diamond or GC b/c it has a shorter shelf. If you split the pocket its falling, if you shoot it into the tit...not dropping...you definitely know when you miss you missed period.

The sides are 4 3/4" mouth, to 4" throat. I was patient and set everything up for probably around $1500 or so, gave 900 for the table, then 150 for the light, 150 for a diamond rack and centennial balls, 150 to cloth and shim. I opted for the velocity pro at the time, but when I re-do the cloth in the spring I'll be going to the simonis hr, and reinstalling rail rubber for the shims so they are more lively. All in all I'm pretty happy with the table tho...i put alot of elbow grease into it and it turned out pretty jam up, just have to do a few touch ups like change the pockets to leather so they don't mark the balls, and liven up the shims and it'll be pretty perfect.

I like how even tho its tight it doesn't affect the balls from dropping b/c it doesn't have the really deep shelf, so it helps to keep my stroke more open and promotes a more professional style of play....to me a table can be too tight, once you go too far you might as well be on a snooker table b/c its not pool anymore.
