Mike! You really got a great tour going. What was on the flyers and advertisement was exctly what happened. I have been to many tourneys and they didn't hold up thier end of the deal. The only problem i have is how come we didn't get any ribs? lol! jk' It was a great event and can't wait til next time=)
 
Here is what to look forward to reguarding the ribs:

They are what we call "Country Ribs", they are boneless and cut into the size of a ribeye steak about 1 1/2"s thick. We then load them on our big smoker outside and over the next 5-6 hours smoke the pork to perfection. We serve our ribs dry and provide a house sauce for you to add yourself. I know potato salad will be served with it and one other thing(maybe black eyed peas).....

We do this every 3rd Saturday of the month and always add $1000.00 to the 9-ball tournament.

It is a little too far for me to drive. I will wait til you get a little closer. But you never know what might happen.:D

This is the event that you guys were telling me about last month while I was there. I had to fly back over here to Germany so I will miss out.

The ribs are smoking and everyone is getting in some practice time on the 20 tables with new cloth...........who is gonna take the CASH????
 
That was a fun tournament, lots of talent and the ribs were awesome! Mike, you ran a great tournament, thanks! Next time I'm in Georgia I will be sure to stop by the Hole Thang.
 
When I left Scotty Townsend and Brian White were in the finals. Brian had to beat Scotty twice. I don't think Brian won, Scotty couldn't miss a ball all weekend:)
 
Hey guys, I just woke up (Recovered) from getting home from the Hole Thang's event. I am sending all the results to AZ and IP. Both should have articles and pictures up soon.

The action at the event was awesome. I only slept for 2 hours since Friday night. The Open event was won by..........The Amateur event was won by............. Check AZ and IP fot the results.





















Just Kidding....

Scotty Townsend won the open event in a 2 set finals over Brian White and Sam Tush won the Amateur event in a 2 set finals over yours truly, Mike Janis.


THANK YOU , to David Poole (the legend himself) and to Larry Poole from the Hole Thang for makeing the event awesome for everyone. All the tables were recovered last week and played great. The room (Larry & David) graciously fed everyone great Ribs all weekend long for FREE which were smoked to perfection by Chris the master Chef. The Hole Thang is definately one of the best players action rooms I have seen in a long time. Even though the room is fairly new (about 1 year old) I am positive that the Hole Thang will make it's way into the history books and great action srories in the near future. YOU NEED TO GET GO THERE FOR AN EVENT SOON ! Every 3rd Saturday of the month the Hole Thang has a $1,000 added $25 entry fee event and they GIVE AWAY FREE RIBS to everyone. It's AWESOME !

Please look for more events from the Viking Tour at the Hole Thang in the near future.
