That's actually a piece missing from a layer than fell out when I touched it. And where did it come from Martin.
I haven't installed or played with any of my current Moori tips but I know for certain they are genuine. Every tip I've ever played with except Samsara break tip has mushroomed and need another trimming sone or later. How tips feel and play are always a personal preference thing.
My experience too. Never had a tip not mushroom. But as far as a layer having such a bad spot that a chunk literally falls out when touched is new to me. Cut that off and installed a Ruby. I'd saying after my day 1 impressions between the Jewel, Malachite, and Ruby, the Jewel is way above the other two in terms of playability. I thought I could just cut the tip down and it could be better. I was so wrong. That tip was just a bad tip.

Let me guess, it's from the same guy that has recently sent me rude and vulgar, threatening emails saying he'll sue the ass off of me if I say another word about?? The same guy that is no longer banned from here, has a criminal record longer than my arm under his real name.....Hmmm wonder whom that would be.....
I guess by your post you are asking to be sued. Some people follow through with action. Sometimes discretion in the better part of valor. You might be smart to delete your post Dave. Law suits are not cheap. Especially if they are long and drawn out and are out of state.

The problem with a clown is that he is a clown. Once a clown always a clown. I have an unopened cease and desist order that a clown sent me. Whenever I need a good laugh I pick it up and it brightens my day. The thing with pathological liars and cheats is that they can't stop, even when presented with irrefutable evidence that they are full of crap.
When a guy says you can accuse him of just about anything and not hurt his rep, then sends a letter like that.... Well, it's hard to say he isn't losing and this is his kamikaze run. The fact someone like that would actually pay an attorney to draft such a letter makes me smile even wider and affirms his loss. It's amazing what an "attorney" will do for a couple hundred dollars...
Put a bully on his back and he'll go running to his momma...or "attorney"...
