I have a mezz cue that plays really well. I would probably make it my player, I just can't get away from the cue I've been playing with. I really like the mezz shaft though. It is a mezz zzsp. Let me know if that is something you like and we can talk.

If it were me, I would buy Lee Peppers titlist cue he has. I would bet money that cue plays great. That is the best deal on AZ right now.

The very first thought that came to my mind when I read the OP was: Get a Lee Peppers cue (if you like a stiff-hitting cue).

Dam, now I wish I had 450$ to spend on a Cue :-(

And that just brings up something that I had on my mind. If you don't mind me asking. Is Dark Cherry wood a good wood to make a cue out of ?

any cue maker on az can hook you up. we all have our favorites

i'd get a gilbert j/b (to play with)
or a bryan mordt plane jane (if you can)

The market is so low right now that as a buyer, you have the power. Get a custom sneaky for $450 made to your specs, brand new, from a few different makers. Get a custom sneaky or even not so sneaky, but used, and pick and choose the specs you are looking for, from the Wanted/For Sale section.

Either way, you are in the drivers seat, it's a great time to be buying. My current player is a custom, with everything I have ever wanted, plays just like I hoped for ... and I basically stole it for the asking price, which was half what it used to be.
