Did Justin beat Jayson in a challenge match? I thought that wasn't for a few weeks still. I heard Teachers made Berg their house pro. I think Teachers deserves a round of applause for what they've been doing.

CLAP< CLAP. I agree, Teacher's rocks. Johnnyt

Nope. Looks like I dogged this one. Thought I read it on the forum last week that Justin won, but it seems I'm wrong on this.

You're not wrong more than once a year. Now cut it out...members count on you to be right all the time... Johnnyt

Don't feel all alone, Stu. I dogged it in my article. I said the USA hasn't won the Mosconi Cup in seven years, and it has only been five. Ricky Bryant caught me on that one. :embarrassed2:

If something doesn't change soon, however, it could easily end up being seven years...or longer.

Roger,

Good article! However, I must chime in and say the article pointed to a perceived problem with no solution. If understood correctly, the pocket chalkers sold out with no more supply. What is left for the American fan base to do in terms of support?

I'm not intending to criticize just for the sake of it but in hopes to spur some type of additional fund raiser in support of our team. I supported them last year by purchasing posters on here for sale. I sent the money to Mark Wilson and he mistakenly sent me a copy of his book. I actually kept the book and paid for it as well as a second gesture in support of the team.

So, In what way can the fans support the players? This may be a question geared specifically for Mark and I'm in hopes he has something additional in the works to help our team. The chalkers were a solid idea but there is more that can be done.

For the sake of offering a solution, one thought is to get with TAR and design a Mosconi Team USA poster and a Mosconi Team Europe poster for sale with proceeds benefitting maybe both sides. Might even offer a limited number of autographed posters by the team members. Payment required prior to printing and shipping so you never have an over stock. But it must be something of good quality and size (maybe 20x30).

Just offering a suggestion. I know I would be interested!

Last year I gave something like $20 and I got a patch or something. Anything similar this year?
