It's very tough, but real strong players can do it sometimes. To play the 1-pocket ghost, you soft break towards your hole, take ball in hand, and try to run out. This is also a pretty good drill, I learned it from Tang Hoa. My record is 11. Not too long ago, I think Corey Deuel had an open challenge with the 1pocket ghost. I forgot to mention that they take odds on the money against the ghost, like 4-1 or maybe more.

you can get Corey to try it at 4 or 5 to 1.

John Schmidt beat it in Kennesaw a while back getting 4 to 1.

I was there and saw John Schmidt beat the 15 ball 1 pocket ghost getting 4 to 1 on the money. It was truly artistic! Dont faint John....I know I complimented you.

I saw Corey do it many times a the DCC a couple of years ago. Very impressive and I believe he came out way ahead, unless I missed the continuation, if there was one, of the session I watched until he had to quit and play a match. I don't recall seeing him play again.

wasnt talking about the ghost. was just stating that most times throughout the game there isnt opprotunities to go 8 and out

Hello Gerry, you might be interested to know that the last time Johnny and I competed playing 14.1 he lost. I am a well rounded player and have run over three hundred, i think Archer is a soar loser personally, it is a shame that a champion has to act like that but I forgive him.

Are you headed back down here for West Palm Beach and Miami in a couple weeks?

Aaron,
Will he do it on Chris's front table 4 to 1 cheap (100-200) a game? I asked him before. He was a little tired that night. Is he still living in the area? I have gotten away from pool completly too much good poker action. Call me after the open if you guys want to try the 1pkt ghost. My schedule is pretty hectic till Novemebr. Good luck at the open

Maybe if he had his "Earl Leg Extenders" on!

Oh Oh. You are in trouble now. Rich R. does not like people using his pictures without permission. You did get his permission didn't you? That is Rich R's photo isn't it.

He sure tore into Harry on Inside Pool forum for posting a picture without permission.

In Johny's defense, it's truly debatable whether it's sportsmanlike for someone to be climbing pool tables...without their shoes on! :D ;)

We forgive you too! :)
