Why am I blocked from bidding on this auction? I just tried to put a bid in and it said that I have been blocked from bidding. What gives?

It sure did start fast but as we all know, in the auction world, it's the end that counts.

I must admit, I was a little surprised to see the 3K this early. Pool cues are funny at auction, they generally start out quicker (relative to the end value) than everything else I sell. I have flatware sets that will eventually outperform this cue that right now are at $100. It's just a matter of bidder style. Steuben crystal for example, all the good buyers wait until the last seconds, all of them, I can have a good Steuben auction that will be at $25 with an hour to go and end up over 1K (a little nerve wracking as a seller). Myself, as a bidder, I like to declare early, let the players know I'm in.
