Brings back many memories

Tim and Mike Cochran made me several of this beautiful design

Bill Mc Daniel may have had something to do with it as
well

The cue is quite a bit like my friend Denny Glenn plays with
which is a Gus Szamboti

I wish I had kept one of these or one similar

Your cue is very pretty, and like all Scruggs.
it probably plays as good as any cue ever made

I can't say anything about the '97 but I know this '96 was partly done in Bill's shop along with 5 more of differing veneers and wraps.

Richard Black Split Diamond cue uses a similar butt sleeve design - also a real nice cue by RBlack - that was my first custom cue - plays real well too.

That is one of my all time favorite designs
inspired by a cue played by Papa Glenn

The famous collector, I had Tim and Mc Daniel
both to make some tributes way back when

I don't remember how many of each they made,

(not many were made and the black butt plate which
is really nice may be the only one of its kind )

but I have always thought it was the prettiest
cue money could buy

Who ever gets this cue will be getting a real treasure
I think you will regret letting it get away

Your right Dean might keep it 20 more years if i live that long.

With a 4 yrs. old FS thread you wouldn’t think it but the seller did bump the this thread over a week ago.
The best approach is to engage the seller via PM about the cue’s availability & pricing. Best of luck to you.
