Sneaky with 2 shafts and no joint protectors went for 850. This is a great deal on an almost new cue!!!!!!!!!! Going on ebay at 11
 
Beautiful cue you have but that species of wood is kinda love it or leave it. Also, $1000 for a current maker without points is pretty high too, if you stop to think about it. Many of todays prices have just gotten out of control. Why should this plain stick be more than $800 brand new? Good luck with the sales though,,,,,,,,you seem to know more than I about these Bluegrass. Wyld78
 
Richard is a personal friend. Granted 1000 might seem high, but he's not taking orders. One just went for 850 that was a sneaky pete. This cue I just got, plus it has joint protectors. If I can't get 1000 out of it, I'll just put it up until the market gets better. 6 months ago these were going for 1200-1400
