This is a great hitting cue and i must say the point's are imaculatedly done. sharp as hell points. This cue is a "Gus Szamboti" tribute cue. The cue is slightly used and in great shape. A couple of minor bumps in the forearm that can be felt, but not seen. here are the spec's on the cue

:thumbup: 4 points ebony with 4 veneers: brown, orange, white, tulipwood (outside-inside) into birdseye forearm, tulipwood veneers are the highlight on this cue in my opinion.
:thumbup: Steel joint with 5/16x14 pin
:thumbup: Maple and red dash rings at positions A, B, and E
:thumbup: Ebony butt, Delrin butt cap with -R- logo
:thumbup: Green and white spec linen
:thumbup: 2 shafts, ivory and LBM ferules, 12.8 & 12.7mm with moori tips
:thumbup: weight is approximately 20 oz.
:thumbup: Cue is used but in really great shape. There are a couple of dings in the forearm that can be felt but not seen, as the finish is in really great shape.

i'm not sure buddy...i got it off of Aball....it just doesn't hit like a metal poll like i like in my shooters... nothing wrong with it or anything, just not my preffered hit. and i'm not saying it hits soft or even medium...
 
i remember when jerry made this cue or a cue like it. it was done with szamboti specs for a customer that had the exact szamboti. i seem to remember a leather wrap tho. jerry has made me 30+ cues so sometimes i get blurry but i remember the tulipwood veneer

reguardless this cue new from jerry 2 shafts ivory ferrules is like 1100$ with the ring shipped to your door.

This is a steal for this cue. Jerry makes super tribute cues.

Dave, I believe this cue that I had is the one you are referring to. It is very similar to the cue being sold here. Mine was made as a direct copy of a Szamboti cue, using the customer's Szamboti as a template.

I've seen this cue in person and it's beautiful. Very traditional and clean. Aball picked it up locally. I see the transaction in person.
