**UPDATE - Table is broken down and ready to move. Table must be picked up by Friday 4/10/09! **

For sale at only $1,100 REDUCED! May consider trade for nice pool cue.

9' Gold Crown-style AMF table, black with chrome. Solid wood througout except for laminate rail surfaces. Drop pockets and ball box/scoring dials in the foot rail. It is in excellent condition for it's age, just some chips to the laminate rails in a few places.

** UPDATE - I'll include a boxed set of Centennial balls in good condition with the table ***

I believe the table was originally custom ordered for a room in Las Vegas. Later it hitched a ride to Gary's in Victorville and Steve (Tablemechanic) got to to work his magic on her, renewing the rail rubber and extending them to nice, tight 4.5" corners. It plays better than most any Gold Crown I've played on. Currently covered with green Simonis 860.

UPS don't have a box big enough so local collection only. ;)

More pictures available if needed:

Funny...last night at pool leagues we were just talking about tables and an older gentlemen brought up the AMF tables and how the gold crown look a likes played just as good and looked great. If he's right this is a steal!

Bump to you sir.

Bump - More photos added

Thanks, I think it plays great and, unlike many Gold Crowns, it has solid wood rather than plywood skirts.

Yes, I was told it was in a Las Vegas room, I guess that explains the black and gold look! Probably had leopard-skin print cloth or something like that when it was new, poor thing.

Tucco, I'm in southern Orange County, near where the 5 and 405 meet. If you want to come see the table please just send me a PM.

For your information, that's a AMF Grand Prix model. Just built one last week and they are very similiar to the Gold Crown.

Great Table

A friend just bought the identical table. Played on it a couple of times this week, and like you say, plays as good as any gold crown and is a real beauty. We are recovering it soon and make the pockets the same as yours. Someone should jump on this soon. Good luck.

Hey buddy

I just sent the information to a friend who is looking for a table. I will let you know what he thinks. I just asked Gary a couple weeks ago if he still
had any of these.

Are you getting a new table or need the space?

Thanks Frank. I'm moving soon and probably won't have room for the table in the new place. If I can't sell it I'll have to break it down and put it in storage, so I'd rather sell it now when people can see it in one piece.

If your friend wants to discuss it directly just PM me his phone number and I'll be happy to give him a call.

No problem I have not heard back from him yet.
Good luck with the sale and the move

The eagle flies on Friday!

Pretty soon I'll need to tear this table down, so if any one wants to see this table whilst it's in still in one piece let me know ASAP. I'll also sweeten the deal and throw in a gently used boxed set of Centennial balls too!

I'm surprised you haven't sold this yet, I have quoted people on moving this table.

Saturday I go out to play.

Thanks SD. If anyone wants to come see this table today or tomorrow just PM me.
