Sean, just a question.. i see you have the wrap listed as elephant hide.. is that the same as "elephant ear" or is the texture different?

thanks..chris

Chris,

Generally, the ear is much smoother and less wrinkled than other parts of the hide. I've seen both used on cues. This one is actually ear....it's described wrong....so thanks for bringing to my attention. It's got a nice soft, supple feel and the texture is consistent throughout the entire length of the wrap.

Thanks!

Sean, sure thing.. i do like the way it looks.. the texture on it looks very appealing.... and i have only ever seen the ear used.. i know there is the inside of the ear and the outside of the ear which both have different feel.. but it doesnt suprise me when you see other things listed as being used.. it seems more and more, they are using non common things for wraps.. so we need to try them all! :)

Elephant Ear...

It's my understanding that the inner elephant ear is the softer, less wrinkles, and better feeling as compared to the outer elephant ear...

Now, I've not felt the two against each other...but that's what I have been told.

Btw, Awesome Cue here !!!

Digging this cue, nice veneers, cocobola nice and grainy. Ivory to boot. Andy known for good players and can get a lot of work for good prices imo.

....bump....

Well, looks like 'carl9898' has pulled out on buying. No word from him this week.

This one is back on the market.
