I have a real nice cocobolo sneaky pete from Bob Frey. This one has some of the nicest cocobolo that I have seen. It has all the bells and whistles...cocobolo joint, cocobolo butt cap, and a Rambo ring. Cue has one minor bruise in the handle and a real minor ding on the edge of the butt cap (you can see both in the pix). Very nice overall condition. The shaft has the very, very slightest of taper roll...you have to look hard to see it, but it is there. It is a beautiful cue and plays super.

Specs:

- 18.6 ounces
- Shaft: 12.8mm, LBM ferrule
- 3/8x10 wood to wood, Cocobolo joint
- Black phenolic joint collars
- Straight grain maple forearm
- Really nice razor sharp Cocobolo points (four even points)
- Same piece of Cocobolo for the handle/body
- Rambo ring above the butt cap with the trademark "F" logo
- Cocobolo butt cap

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

Bob Frey is the king. Love my Frey SP. Someone should jump on this, especially with the matching cocobolo joint/buttcap... the three rail bump and bank is here.

Edu-ma-cate me a little here......
by taper roll, do you mean the ferrule/tip and joint don't lift, but you can see some variance or "runout" somewhere along the tapered portion of the shaft?

I'm guessing while not optimal or desired, it isn't as detrimental to play as a warped joint?

Nice cue btw :D

When you roll the shaft, you can see maybe a credit card width of light at one point. Most folks would say it is dead on, but I mention it for few folks on here who are extremely particular. Nothing lifts anywhere....no where even remotely enough to cause any sort of lift. If I had a video camera, I would you tube it, and you would say what am I talking about.

I too consider this as straight. Probably 8 out of 10 shafts have this condition to varying degrees. MAN, this is some bang for the buck here!!!
