+1. I thought a South West cue with A/B rings has fancy index rings above and below the wrap.

A and B are next to joint collar on butt and shaft C and D are above and below wrap and a E ring is above butt cap FYI So yes it does have A and B

Your C and D reference is actually A and B rings. I couldn't see a ring above the wrap. What happen to the 'A' ring?

This has been debated before on here and different cuemakers call them differently. Southwest calls the A and B rings the rings above and
below the wrap. Other cuemakers call A and B the joint rings.
Here is picture off a a well known Cuemakers site that labels the ring positions.
Hope this makes things clear as mud. LOL
