Hey folks,

I just received some super nice goncalo alves, brazilian ebony and jatoba directly from the Amazons.
As far as I was told, the wood has been sitting in a warehouse for the last 15 months so it has been air dried for that long.
The moisture reading is 8% and on some of the squares I can not even get a reading, so I am assuming that is bellow 8%.

Wood figure:
Brazilian ebony - straight grain with several squares with sap wood. The sap wood on this kind of wood is the same density as the dark wood
Goncalo alves - only have about 2 squares with light figure. All other squares have a nice figure.
Jatoba - light figure
Brazilian purpleheart - super vivid colors.

I have just a few squares of Brazilian purpleheart, Brazilian ebony, goncalo alves and Brazilian jatoba.

All the squares are around 1.6" and the price for all of them are $25.00 each plus shipping.

Pm me your email address for payment as well your ZIP code for shipping quote.

I do not have a lot of them so first come first served.

Pictures are not very good, I will try some better ones tomorrow.

I might not respond to all the pm's right away since I am working tomorrow, please be patient.

Thanks Mickey for the kind words.
Already sold a few squares and still have more available. I did a small price correction, I am also posting another picture that shows some of the purpleheart.

Ill take a couple squares of the Brazilian ebony and a couple the Goncalo alves. PM sent

That ebony has just a bit of sapwood on it...

Hey Mr. Hoppe,
Usually sapwood does not have the same consistency and density of the main wood. It is not the case with this Brazilian ebony.
I have squares that have 50 % or more sap and they are the same weight as the solid ebony squares.
I will be turning a few squares round this weekend.

Thanks Richard,
I will try to post a picture tomorrow afternoon of a brazilian ebony, brazilian rosewood and goncalo alves that I turned round today.

Still have quite a few squares of ph, gonçalo alves and brazilian ebony available.

Tony
you seem to have good hook ups on some nice butt blank, I have decided to attempt to recreate my playing cue. I need 3 Curly Maple Butt Blanks, couple of those Brazilian ebony. I also need purple, red, yellow, orange, and black veneers.
I am attaching a picture of my cue, I love the blend of colors the butterfly has, so I have decided to make my own cue.
I will call you later

Only have 3 jatoba squares left. They are all 20"+ and still have plenty of Brazilian ebony, ph and some sick gonçalo alves.
I have some pieces in 32" length, awesome for I solid piece cues or full splice.
