FS Chudy RC3 Cue With Ebony Nose, 10 Points, Lizard Wrap & G-10 Pin - MINT CONDITION

For sale is RICHARD CHUDY (RC3) cue, which is in MINT CONDITION. The forearm is Gaboon Ebony and features 5 points, each of which has a spear tip. The butt sleeve is also Gaboon Ebony and featues 5 points. Inside each of the 10 points are elongated diamonds. The wrap is black lizard. The cue comes with 2 shafts, each of which has an Ivory ferrule and a meaty layered tip. The shafts roll dead straight together and apart. The shaft diameters are 13.10 mm and 13.07 mm. The cue is 58.0 inches long and weighs 19.3 oz. with either shaft; the butt alone weighs 15.7 oz. Included is a matching joint protector for the butt end of the cue, which has the RC3 logo. The joint is flat-faced with a 3/8-10 G-10 glass epoxy pin. This RC3 is one of the best playing cues I have ever played, flat-faced or piloted. My price is $2,675.00 or best offer delivered by USPS Express Mail with full insurance to any point in the Continental U.S. I will consider trades, but only for MINT CONDITION CUES from reputable AZB sellers with 100% positive iTrader feedback.

I have to say that in person this cue is stunning and it is an awesome playing cue. I have played with a lot of cues and this one ranks right at the top.

Doug:

My thoughts exactly. I have played with several hundred custom cues ranging in price from $600.00 to $16,500.00 and this RC3 ranks right at the top of the pack.

I have had two trade offers, but nothing which motivates me to cut this incredible cue loose. Any more cash or trade offers?

Ok..... I Know I'm A Little Slow, But What Are The Points Made Of? My Monitor Sucks, So I Can't Tell From The Pics. Sorry For The Dumb Question, But I'm Curious.

I don't think Mike will mind me answering this, the points are Micarta.

Very nice looking cue! You just don't see that many RC's on the secondary market. One Chudy that will forever stand out in my mind is the Jake the Snake cue. Friggin gorgeous!

Mike, what is your avatar cue???

MY TURN TO ANSWER......

CANTANDO

That's correct. It's a rare 16 point Cantando with 112 inlays when the cue is connected (88 in the butt end of the cue and 24 in each shaft collar). The cue is Amboyna Burl into Ebony and is easily one of the 10 biggest Cantando cues ever made, and only one of a handful of 16 pointers. Below are some photos of the cue.

hi mike-

are you coming to kc this weekend? (cue show)

bob b.

I had my plane ticket, rent a car and room ready to go, and had to cancel because my wife's 100 year old grandmother in MA passed away 2 days ago. She is heading to MA today and I have to take care of our 4 and 7 year old kids. She gets back on Saturday, so I'm going to miss the event and am bummed about it. Oh well, there is always the Derby City Classic and Valley Forge in 09 to look forward to.

Mike,

Sorry to hear about the news, family always comes first. I was looking forward in seeing this cue in person, as well as meeting you. (i have talked with you many times). Someday perhaps......

I have had several trade offers on this RC3, but nothing that motivates me to deal the cue. Please keep them coming.
