My gosh people, let the guy sell his cue... if you are not interested in purchasing why do you care? For that matter, even if you are interested in purchasing it why would you care?

Enough from me on this...

Where in the ranking does the hit of a Barrenbruge fall?

Was considering one and just curious.

As good as anything. Best way I could describe it is medium stiff with easy power, and under toned impact feel that is natural & comfortable. You hit the ball & it goes. There's no lingering vibration in the shaft, no clicky ticky feel common with most hard hitters, but you feel the impact of hitting the ball kinda like biting in to a perfectly grilled steak. You feel it & know it but there's no resistance or adverse recoil. I don't know how else to describe it but one other way & it's inappropriate but we all know how it feels. Same basic sensation but in your hands instead of somewhere else. It's smooth & feels right. Not many cues have this quality. To note, thus far I have hit with an old Scruggs, some Showmans, an old 3/8-10 Mali, & a Sierra cue that felt this way, besides my own which I cannot justly compare because I build my own to fit what I personally like. I have hit with pretty much everything & it's rare that a cue stands out & impresses me. Barrenbrugges & Showmans are the only two off the top of my head that I feel this way about.

Good comments, Eric. Some good comparative info here!

This is a beautiful cue, and Dave's workmanship is impeccable! Great and rare offering, wish I had the dough to spare!
