This is my favorite Mottey of all time
It has inlaid Violins with great detail made of fiddle back maple

I have had 10 Motteys with Ivory wraps and yet this one outshines them all,

The cue has a nice black lizard wrap

Mottey

Deano, you were absolutely correct.Beautiful one off custom nothing like it in the world Mottey. Not too shabby table and CASE either!
Good luck with your sales

The music score is from Beethoven's Fifth symphony

I sponsored a small piano concert a while back and had several
cue makers make me music theme cues.

Shick,Mottey,Schon, all made me something special,

This Mottey was the most outstanding cue that I had ever seen.

I had Paul make me several more music cues with different themes.
Blues, rock and roll,Cotton club Mr Bojangles , Louie Armstrong and Jerry Lee Lewis
These other cues are in some of the finest collections in the world

If I had my choice, this is the one I prefer, even though the others
had Ivory wraps and scrimshaw by Sandra Brady.

I am not a classic music guy,but I certainly appreciate
classic cues and this one is my favorite of all time.

I had to trade Will Prout a 1967 triumph Bonnieville with 130 miles
to get it back,or it would be sitting in his beautiful house.

Instead Will has my candy apple purple and white Triumph
and you have a chance to get a true piece of cue collecting
history from a cue maker who is now retired, at a modest
price compared to the prices something like this could
fetch

Call me if you want it,your friends will drool,I know mine did.
Others may have a stable of beautiful cues that are more ordinary
but you will have the one that stops people in their tracks and brings
a smile to their face and a wow to their expression.

Please no offers of any kind, you either want it or you don't,
I am aware the cue is under priced at $6500 .

thank you for looking

Hey Dean
So that is where Will got that bike. I am a car collector like him and I think he sent pictures of your bike not for sale but to enjoy. Both cue and bike are impressive pieces of work.

Dot dot dot dash

It was also used for anti nazi spys as an alert to information exchange and let other informants know all was well proceed as planed!
Because Ludwig was a German composer and national idle no objection could be raised if the 5th symphony was played before or after any gathering or performance.
Sweet Mr. Dean,
Nick :)

Thanks for the compliments,I wish the two inlaid violins were clear, they are just as important as the ivory, both violins are made of fidle back maple

Very nice cue Dean. I while back Will was nice enough to invite my wife and I up to his home to see his collections. Of course I had to get a few pictures, well may more than a few than that, and here's a couple I thought you might enjoy Dean. My wife is in one and I'm in the other and if you notice in the background there's a really nice Triumph back there, look familiar. Good luck on your sale.

Well now you get to see the motorcycle I traded to get this cue back.

And what a treat to see Rusty Melton, the man who made the beautiful case with the Mottey

And just to get a peek at part of Will Prouts collectible cars and things.

But of course the Mottey for sale is the big news, what a nice opportunity
to own a real collectible piece.

The violin pics were all blury. This will give you an idea of how they look. Really impressive cue. Such fine detail work, truely a work of art.

Rusty,

You look good in that old green car! And so does the motorcycle behind it look great!
As Dean said, we worked out a trade some time ago that involved cue, case, motorcycle and cash! ........Wow!...... And Dean is the perfect gentleman.

I owned the Mottey Music Cue for several (8-10) years, and enjoyed it immensely. It is far nicer when holding it in your hands.

To use the word exceptional falls short of how great this cue is. Great design, perfect execution and all by a world class cuemaker who no longer makes cues.

If you are considering a custom cue, this should certainly be on your short to-do list.
