My friend asked for Tad Kohara's personal signature when he came to Taiwan last year. I think it's just for commemoration but I won't do it with any of my cues.:cool:

SPECULATION--Based on the fact that at 121 yrs of age Mr. Kohara might be the oldest person on earth:) At that age he might be VERY FAR SIGHTED.

In all seriousness....that is a very rare and desirable cue!!
 
actually.. i heard somewhere that an actual tad signature like that is VERY VERY RARE.. and when he does sign stuff.. he sparpies it just like that... if you want his name... i guess you have to take how he wants to give it to you... :)

I was just thinking the very same thing. While his personal signature may be rare....and while it's a GORGEOUS cue....the marker on the forearm takes away from it pretty hard.

Of course, this is coming from a guy who couldn't be FURTHER away from being able to buy it!!!

Nice looking cue, sir. Best of luck on the sale. I'm sure the new owner will be thrilled to have it, with or without the signature.

Yes, my friend bought this cue with no signature on it.
Then, when Tad Kohara came to Taiwan in Dec. 2005, he brought this cue to Mr. Kohara and requested a signature from him.

Actually, there is another signed Tad cue needs a new home.:cool:
