What I have here is a Scruggs by Barnhart. 19.8oz. Shafts are 12.7mm and weighs 4.2 oz each. Ivory ferrules, ivory joint, radial pin and a ivory hoppe ring. I'm looking for a nice Scruggs cue in trade, but I will accept cash offers. So make me a offer I can't refuse.

I had the privilege to see these cues being built...they are awesome cues. Cory built only a very few (remember that they were completed from cues in the process of a build when Mike Cochran passed away), and I think he told me that all of them were now spoken for, so there should be no more...

I really do not see a problem here. OP asked for a Scruggs in a tarde and that guy posted specs. What is wrong here?

Thread is vague and...

I thought the same thing till I read it twice. No reason to jump on Joe,Bamacues for thinking that.I can't/don't speak for Joe,but I'm sure that his heart was in the right place, and maybe he just pulled the trigger a little quick.Geez, give him a break. Bamacues is one of the best members on the forum.

Did some one say that Bamacues was a bad member? Or did someone say his heart was in a wrong place? Or better yet, does the fact that he is one if the best members mean that he is never wrong?
I simply pointed our that OP was looking for Scruggs and asked why Bamacues posted what he posted. As simple as that.

My comment was a general one and not directed at you (Kot_Bigemot) in particular.I am not Bamacues lawyer. It was just my 2 cents. You should know me well enough by now to know,I wouldn't bash you or any other members.Sorry if you got that impression, that was not my intent. Also,to the OP,sorry for posting here,GLWS Nice cue.

Marc, I understand, no worries man.
If my comments sounded offensive, I am sorry.
I really, simply wanted to find out why he posted what he posted. Nothing else. It was just curiosity. On the other hand, curiosity killed a cat

Why the gang mentality on here? Joe misread it. A poster pointed it out, that should be the end of it. You don't get bonus points on here for pointing out every mistake posters make. A few select members need to enjoy the forum, but know that it isn't your job to police it. Go Read a book, buy a goldfish, or ride a pony with all the free time you will have by not looking for discrepancies in every thread.

Now to get this back on track. Great cue, thanks for the info on why they are scruggs by barnhart cues. Good luck with sale or trade. sorry the thread got off track from such a sweet cue.

Jon

Did not mean to jump on anyone..I was interested in seeing the Scruggs and was asking him to post pix, etc so that I could see it without imposing on the OP's thread..assuming that it would only be posted if the OP was not interested in a trade..I have been looking for a Scruggs cue.

My apologies if it appeared that I was jumping on the poster..that was the farthest thing from my mind.
Joe
