I have a very nice jump/break cue available from William "Woody" Woodworth. He used some exceptional, highly grained woods in this cue, resulting in a sweet looking custom J/B cue that plays great, too. The forearm is highly grained bacote with a radial G-10 pin, and the handle is some really nice curly maple. The cue has a hard water buffalo tip on it and breaks the balls extremely well...jumps good, too. Cue is in exceptional condition with only a couple of extremely light dings on the edge of the jump joint.

Specifications:

-Jump handle alone: 6 ounces
-Complete butt: 15 ounces
-Shaft: 3.5 ounces, 12.9mm, water buffalo hard tip, looks to be either aegis or ivorine 4 ferrule, not sure
-Main joint is radial G-10 pin, wood to wood
-Black phenolic joint collars
-Real nicely figured bacote forearm
-Black phenolic joint collars at the jump joint
-Jump joint has quick release, wood to wood joint
-Very nicely figured curly maple butt
-Black phenolic butt cap with trademark "W" logo
-Joint protectors included

I got into the cue good in a trade, so I am just trying to pass the deal along.

I had a question about the hard water buffalo tip versus a phenolic tip. Different people like different tips. Right now, this one has a water buffalo tip. I have phenolic tips in stock. I will change the tip to phenolic for the buyer (for FREE) if he/she prefers phenolic.

Play like the pros and don't use phenolic :P
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that pros aren't allowed to use phenolic tips.

And seeing as how production line jump/breaks run around anywhere from 100-400 dollars, 250 for a custom one with handpicked nice looking wood sounds pretty damned good.

Not true whatsoever. The now bye-bye IPT did not allow nonleather...and that still didn't stop them. I used a hard SuperPro tip then bored a hole down into the middle and threaded in a 5/16 phenolic core. After it was chalked it simply looked like a normal tip. They'd of needed A CSI team to tell it was illegal. I did a few for IPT pros...then it was incredible how many I did after word got out. The pros simply want what performs best...period. They are not going to handicap their game simply because of superior skill...please.

Joe I simply don't like phenolic tips that are glued on...I've seen too many fail. If your buyer prefers, you or them can send me the shaft & I will install a phenolic or G10 tip with a stem thats threaded down into the ferrule...NO CHARGE. I'll warranty the tip for life. Just passing along a little good Karma for a friend.:)
