Here is a nice Lambros shaft that was built for snooker, but plays stiff enough for standard pool play, if you like a thinner shaft. This one is 11mm, 3.4oz, and is straight. It is the original ultrajoint, 3/8x10.

I was asked if this shaft will fit a standard, flatfaced 3/8x10 joint. I can face this shaft to flatfaced on my lathe, if anyone wants that done...no extra charge.

It's an ultra-joint.... 3/8x10 only piloted... not alot of cue-makers make those. It would have to be a piloted butt but I may be wrong....
Hey Joe would that fit on the Hitt cue I have?
 
Once faced down to flatfaced 3/8x10, it would fit perfectly on any 3/8x10 cue that was 0.843" at the joint. Some 3/8x10 cues have thicker joint sizes due to the wood to wood construction.

The "facing" requires the removal of the pilot and the very slight bevel of the ultra joint on the collar, making the shaft very similar to Lambros' early shafts.
