Cue is sold...enjoy the photos! Thanks, Martin

Here's an elaborate and exquisite McDaniel Fancy Box or "Rectangles" cue. The cue has over 102 inlays of ivory, ebony and silver. The rings on the cue are incredibly detailed. The butt is in near mint to mint condition with no visable ginks. Wrap is black with white speck linen. The cue has piloted steel joint 5/16-14. Shaft 1 is 12.9mm with ivory ferrule, 3.89 oz., with an ultra slight taper variance in the middle of the shaft. I'd call it 98.5%. The other shaft is 12.6mm, also 3.89 oz. with melamine ferrule 100% dead straight. Cue weighs 19.09oz. with 19-1/4" balance point. Price reduced to $2495 shipped in CONUS. Thanks for looking.

rear photo...incredible detail. McDaniel's build quality and inlay precision is as good as it gets.

Awesome cue at a great price, I have had several McDaniel cues over the years and they have all been great players. And as a bonus you could not ask for a better person to deal with than Martin.

Good Luck on the sale Martin, I am still saving up for one of those pointed Prewitt cues.

Man what is up with all the GREAT Looking McDaniels, BUMP IT UP!! Tomorrow is the biggest shopping day of the year........Good Luck!!

I've never been overly crazy about box cues. I think I've changed my mind on this one. Good luck with the sale that is beautiful!

Thanks guys...cue weight was previously not accurate. My scale batteries needed replacing! Now a more popular 19.1 oz. with either shaft.

Nice cue!

Hello Martin:

Very nice cue!
Some questions:
a) Is the ring work identical throughout the cue? I cannot really tell from the forearm pics.
b) Are there 4 diamonds inlayed if the butt end is rotated by 90 degrees?

Thanks
Michael

P.S.: Your web page seems to be down!

Hi Michael,

1. Yes, the ringwork is identical but it is scaled, meaning the french ivory diamonds and the silver dots with ivory or white centers are much smaller in size at the joint.

2. Yes, if the butt is rotated there is a 4-pack of ivory diamonds which are in a diamond shape. I should have included a photo of this here. The level of craft in this cue and McDaniel's better work puts him in a small group of cuemakers. He is underappreciated, I think.

Sorry, my site went down Friday and I have no idea what is going on. I'll be calling in the morining and hopefully the server problem will be corrected soon. Thanks, Martin
