i googled the case and found a nice quote by lisa:
The McKernan cases were made in Seattle, WA. The case was basically a round PVC type-tube, that was then overlaid with an oak veneer around the outside. What set these cases apart was the fact that he did these lovely hand-braided leather handles, and the marquetry inlays of various other woods for the top of the lid. Inside under the lid was a removable scuffer...a nice little touch. The interior was done with a generally blue felt/velvet, and in much the same style as the Fellini's, and the other similar cases. These were made in only a 1x2 configuration. Not sure what happened to the company, but the cases are highly sought after
Pat made great cases. He made the two cases that were in the movie. The Color of Money. He had to make two because one bounced down the stairs in the movie. He showed me the invoice. I would like to have one of THOSE cases.LOL. Rod.Not my pic, and is for reference only...but this is typical for these cases:
Bump to the top.
