SOLD!!!!! PENDING PAYMENT


We were told that this is a very old Meucci Original with a full splice titist butt.
When we started to take the wrap off we found it to be a full splice Titlist butt. The cue needs work as you can see from the pictures. It is for sale but we would like a little more info before we put a price on it. I have added some pictures as I can't get them uploaded to the website. Enjoy

How strange....do you think some cuemaker simply converted an old Titlist and used the Gambler card section as an extention in the butt. I have never seen anything like it.

IMO,It looks to me like it may be cue put together from parts rather than what Meucci originally did.But I may be wrong.Just never seen one like it before.:)

Bob Meucci used titlist butt in the early days so I was told and I remember seeing a Meucci with a titlist butt on the Bay can't remember what it sold for. We are not looking to get rich on this cue as whoever buys it is going to have a lot of work to do or spend a few bucks to get this cue in shape again.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying this cue when I had the chance. :rolleyes:
 
(FS) Make Offer ---Titlist full splice cue Meucci Original Gammbler?

Thank You for all the info on the cue we are now putting it up for sale. We have had offers on it and want to post here for anyone else that would like to make an offer. We have more info and pictures of the cue.
I can’t really say this is a Meucci and haven’t heard back from Meucci
The weight of the cue is 19 1/4oz B 15 1/4oz S 4oz
It is .800" at the joint 1.275" at the wood above the gambler thing with the cards

Butt is 29”
Shaft is 29 ¼”

Shaft has a wobble
Butt of the cue rolls good
I also think the joint pin is bent on the cue
4 points 2 are even on one side and the other 2 points are even on the other side but are ¼-3/8” lower

Neat looking old cue. I've never ever seen a Titlist Meucci (not to say there wasn't any done, because most everybody has converted them). Joint and rings look like something he would have used them. I'm not so sure on the butt arrangement. It would be nice if you could hear back from them. If it checks out, this is surely a super early cue, maybe around the time when he was with Huebler.

Sean, I can't say it is a Meucci for sure but it is a full spliced titlist and the butt rolls good. I saw a meucci on the bay in the last year that had a titlist butt. The seller said it was special made by Bob. I will call meucci on Sat one last time and see if I can get any info. I will post any info I find out . Thanks Waldos
