I have a real nice Mezz Axi series cue that is in excellent condition with only a few very minor scuffs from play. I just got back from the pool room with this one, and it is an exceptional player. It has a Super Pro tip (a hard tip that I will replace for free, if you want) and I used it to break with, too...very impressive. It comes with a WD-700 low-deflection shaft. Mezz cues are of very high quality fit and finish.

Specifications:

-Butt: 14.1 ounces (weight can be added)
-Shaft: Mezz WD-700 low deflection, 3.5oz, 12.5mm, X-ferrule, Super Pro tip (will change for free, if desired)
-Mezz wavy joint..very much like a radial, wood to wood
-Aegis joint sleeve
-Black phenolic joint collars with Aegis/silver rings
-Wenge forearm
-Rings of Aegis and silver above and below wrap
-Wenge buttsleeve
-Aegis and silver ring above the butt cap
-Phenolic butt cap with "Mezz" logo

Now on Ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...80989&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab=Selling

Good looking cue. i've always wanted to try one of the axi cues

Player, these cues play good, no BS. Has a feel a lot like a Predator. Very solid and easy cue ball movement.

At this price, this cue would be a great entry cue for someone or a bar/league cue for that player who doesn't want to take his high end cue into that environment, but doesn't want to sacrifice playability.

Nice Cue. What kind of tip can you change it to? Are the scuffs only on the butt sleeve?

There are no real "scuffs" that you can see unless you hold the cue at an angle and really look for them...you can just barely feel a couple with your fingertips when you run them over the cue.

Tip type doesn't really matter to me. I don't have any Kamui, but I have Moori, Hercules, Everest, Triangle, LePro, Chandivert (4 kinds), and a bunch of others...although most are mediums.

I have owned the same model cue and it has a solid wenge forearm. Hits similar to cocobola. Plays really really sweet. And also mezz can take in a screw in extension which really helps at times.
