This is another cue that I am selling for a friend. This cue is brand new, unchalked/unplayed. My friend is also heading to Vegas for APA Nationals and is selling off a few cues to help finance the trip.

This cue is an absolute MONSTER cue from Phippilli cues. The shaft on this cue is an incredible 4.8 ounces. The entire cue weighs 21 ounces, but it has a weightbolt which can be removed to lighten it up some, if desired. The cue is very well balanced, however, and does not feel heavy at all.

All of the inlays on the cue are ivory except for the Ivory substitute ring, including the speartips, and the very Black Boar-ish flowerettes in the butt. The 6 points are joined into the body of the cue with Phillippi's jig-saw puzzle joinery.

Specifications:

- Butt: 16.2 ounces
- Shaft: 4.8 ounces. 13.1mm, LBM, Le Pro tip
- Stainless steel 5/16x14 piloted joint
- Black joint collars with silver beauty ring
- Very nice piece of birdseye/curly for the forearm
- 6 lacewood points, 3 high/3 low, with lacewood speartips inlaid with Ivory
- Jigsaw joinery connects the points to the rosewood body
- Nicely figured rosewood handle/body
- Beautiful ringwork in the butt of the cue, consisting of double silver beauty rings separated by Ivory substitute ring. The ring is interrupted by 5 gorgeous "Black Boar-ish" flowerettes, each comprised of 5 individual genuine Ivory inlays
- Cream colored Ivory substitute butt cap
- Signed "Phillippi" between the points

$750 delivered in the US

Great price on a very nice Phillippi. I saw a similar style go threw my room and sell for over $2000.00 , so your price Joe is awesome. Good luck on this steal of a deal.

Thanks guys. I know what my friend paid for this cue, and he is definitely taking a significant loss on the sale. I don't know how things are anywhere else, but a lot of folks in this area are hurting with the economy as it is. Airline tickets to the APA Nationals are more than double in price of what they were a year or two ago. It is a shame that you can win your National Qualifier and barely get enough money to buy an airline ticket.

If you are looking for a great looking and playing wrapless cue, look no farther.

Many thanks for the props, Bill. I appreciate it, and the good words certainly apply to you as well. PM me with what you could do with the Phillippi, if you want. It is good to have options.

Some folks asked me about the weight of the cue. The weightbolt only weighs 0.2 ounces. The cue is not drilled and tapped deep at all...it would be easy to have a cuemaker do that to remove some weight, if desired.

Think about this, however. If you put a standard Predator shaft on this cue that weighed the typical 3.5 ounces, this would only be a 19.5 ounce cue. This 4.8 ounce monster shaft is the heaviest that I have ever personally seen.

That is a beautiful cue!! FYI I don't think predator shafts are typically less than about 4 oz, at least mine aren't.

could anybody tell me how phillippi cues hit? this cue is beautiful.

Phillippi cues have a real firm hit, to me. Very crisp and responsive, but a real firm, solid hit.

I think the one you have seen floating around is the one with the lacewood windows in the butt. I still have that one available for $950. This one was bought by a friend at this year's SBE, and he has had it in a display case ever since then. He is only selling it due to the fact that he needs $$ in order to get to Vegas with his team.

PM me pix of the Palmer...you never know.

Sweet, Berny...bet it plays great with the radial pin, too. Yes, this is a heck of a deal for someone out there, and they will be helping another player make the trip to Vegas.

Lots of trade interest and tire kicking....mostly looking for a cash sale, but might be interested in certain trades...
