How come only one shaft has matching ring work? Are all 3 shafts DPK originals?

Free Bump for you- it should move quickly.

All 3 are original Omega/dpk shafts. Actually all 3 have matching rings, just different for each set of the rings at the C position.

i am actually quite surprised about this one...if I had the cash, I would have jumped on it the first day...these don't just come down the pike every day!

Everyone,
I failed to mention that I have a layaway program if anyone is interested in any of my cues. All it takes is 10% downpayment. As for the length of the layaway, I can discuss that individually for those who are interested.
PM or email me at erik@erikleecues if anyone wants to discuss it further.

Forgive my ignorance. I am familiar with DPK, I am also familiar with Omega where he and Mike Bender worked for a time. Are all cues that he worked on while at Omega, Omega/DPKs? If so, are there also Omega/Bender's?
Thanks for the info.

I'll try to answer your questions to the best of my ability. Omega start in 1989 with Mike Bender as the primary cuemaker and a fellow name Ed Boado as the investor. In 1991 or so, DPK joined Omega and the name of the company changed to Omega/dpk. Mike left Omega/dpk in 1992 to start making his own line of cues in Alaska. Matt Bender, Mike's brother, took over Mike's role in the company. Together with DPK, they made cues until the company folded in 1996.

In reality, all cues that were made prior to DPK joining Omega should be just Omega but I think most people recognize the name Omega/DPK rather than just Omega. There is also a cheap line of cues made recently using the Omega name. So calling these cues Omega/DPK will avoid any kind of confusion with the other line of cues.

As for Omega/Bender's, there really is "no" such thing. I placed the quotes on the no because I have an Omega/DPK that was Mike Bender's personal playing cue. Everything on the cue screams Omega/dpk except for the joint pin which Mike replaced it with a titanium pin. The pin has the standard Bender stamp, "Bender, Alaska". I suppose this could be a great candidate for an Omega/Bender.

You view pics of that cue on my website, www.erikleecues.com, under Cue Collection section. Its the Rosewood on Rosewood cue with kangaroo wrap. If you are interested in that cue, PM or email me at erik@erikleecues.com.

I hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if you have more.
Thanks,
Erik

I'm surprized this is still available. If people know how good Omega cues play. They will be all over this cue.
