Hello, for sale is this very nice 1998 series Predator m#98-6. This cue retailed for $955. I am the second owner of this cue. I believe the cue has never been re-tipped. The cue is in near-mint condition. The guy I bought it from didn't use it very long. He switched back to a Schon and put this cue away. Any questions/trade offers please pm me.

$725/offer Shipped

Thanks, Scott

Info

I am just giving feedback as you wished. Production cues don't do very well here and the market is very slow right now. Plus most of the guys on here are dealers or can buy from a dealer they know for almost nothing. If it retailed for $955 chances are they could buy it for $500-$550 when it was new, maybe less. Your best bet to get the high dollars for it is Fleabay. Just my two cents.

Thanks for your comments Richard.

As for the comment by "paulybatz", I think you are wrong. I have a good friend who used to deal in Predators, and their wholesale price is not 50% of retail like many cuemakers. It has been 5 or 6 years since he was a dealer so it may be different now.

Anyway... Thanks, Scott

Nope...you are still correct. Although the percentage of discount varies depending on the volume of cues purchased, the discount on their cues is much lower than most manufacturers. The discount on their shafts is horrible.

Predator

In regards to dealer discount as of last year, the max a dealer could recieve was 50% off. There is some perks that go along with being a autherized Predator dealer such as display case, demo cue, dealer info stated on web site, and a few more things which slip my mind. I regards to just the discount I believe the system is this; you put in a order 25% off. If that order is $5000.00-$9999.00 you get either 35, 30, or 45% can't remember which off hand plus perks. If order is over $10000.00 you become a full dealer reap full perks and recieve 50% off. That's their best offer as of last year, and I'm going off of memory, information pack is filed away. I could be wrong on different points and things may have changed but this is pretty close to their system.
P.S. this cue I believe is a retired cue which will increase value and looks to be very nice. Good luck with your sale!
