Richard Black "New Phoenix" cue, dated March 15, 1989. Richard Black is one of the very few cuemakers to ever have his cues displayed at The Smithsonian Museum...he is a true master. The cue was recently refinished by Richard and is in excellent condition.

This cue has "The Bopper" in small script (about 1" wide and not prevalent) on the forearm. I am pricing the cue at a price to compensate for that.

I will consider trades and partial trades + cash, but only for "quality" cues.

Specifications:
-Butt: 15.2oz, 29"
-Shaft 1: 12.5mm, 3.9oz, ivory ferrule, 29"
-Shaft 2: 13mm, 3.9oz, ivory ferrule, 29"
-5/16x14 piloted stainless steel joint w/black phenolic collars and silver beauty rings
-Beautiful stained birdseye forearm
-4 rosewood points with 4 veneers, natural, orange, brown, black
-Each point has an ivory barbell
-White w/brown specks irish linen wrap
-Solid rosewood butt sleeve with 4 razor-blade inlays
-Each razor-blade has Richard's fancy tribal art/feather inlays of ivory/tulipwood/rosewood and others
-Black phenolic butt cap
-Signed " Richard Black, March 15, 1989"
Listed for $2100 on Richard's website...

Sale/Trade Pending....

I wouldn't mind trading this one for a Scruggs, White or Mottey.

Hi Joe I am interested in Richard Black and would like to offer an older Joss West players cue, with the sideways W. There are three shafts,2 are 13mm, with ivory ferrules, 281/2 inches long and one is 12.6mm, 29 inches with ivory ferrule. The weight is 19.8 with most shafts. The cue is in excellent condition and perfectly straight. I have a great respect for your judgment and fairness, so you let me know if your interested and what kind of a deal. Can you please email for pictures, I have them as attachments. Thank you, Larry Gendler llgendler@comcast.net
