FS: Schon R3 w/ 3 shafts

Good luck with your sale, but I have to tell you that the cue pictured is not an R-Series Schon, R-Series cues had V-Cut Points that were sharp not rounded like the cue in your photo's.

you sure? I thought that was a R-3 hopes sucker would buy it...just asking

I used to have an R4 and emailed evan clarke and he confirmed that it was an r4 and it looked just like this one... I emailed him about this one too and he said it was an R3 as well.

not all R series have to have sharp points. the newer R series started to have rounded points.

r series?

i thought all R series had stitch pattern rings and sharp points built during the Runde era. i am fairly sure this is not an R series schon. JMO

Your cue is an R3, but not the R3 people expect when they open this thread. The R line lasted from 81 till at least 1990. Sharp points and stitch rings does not mean Runde only, as Evan will do the same thing for you now. Sharp points, stitch rings and before 1992 means Runde Schon that people expect. CNC'd points, nickel rings and pre 92 is still a Runde Schon, just not as desirable, but they still hit great.

I hope Tate doesn't mind that I use his link.

Very astute PDX and be my guest to use whatever you need from my site..

Schon used the same model numbers for several years after they went to the pantographed points and silver rings. I have even seen their original labeled shipping packages. Runde was involved in the switchover to pantographed points.
