Cue is SOLD!!!

I have a very nice Bob Frey (Tim Scruggs former partner) 4 point for sale. Specs are:

4 ebony points into beautifully stained birdseye forearm
4 veneers (G,Y,G,B)
White/green irish linen wrap
Ebony butt
White phenolic buttcap with trademark "F"
1 shaft, 12.7mm
stainless 5/16x14 joint
20 ounces

This is a really sharp cue. The colors really go together nicely. Of course, you all know how close Frey cues are to Scruggs cues and their relationship, so I won't go into that.

Price reduced one time only to $600 delivered USPS Priority Mail in the US

Sooo if it doesnt sell at $600 will you do another one time price reduce down to $400????

Heck Flushman, his fancy sneakies go for more than that...:D I picked this one up this morning and thought I would offer it to the AZB world. If all the Scruggs/Frey lovers are not interested here, I will simply show it around at the pool hall and sell it locally, or maybe see what Ebay does. It is in nearly perfect shape, nice and straight, no dings. As with all of Bob's cues, this thing plays great...very nice balance and sweet hit.

Wish i had the money but i gotta save up for my vegas trip in a month.

I'll probably end up either gettin a scruggs sneaky over the summer somewhere or just get a frey from Fat Wayne one day. I just gotta wait until i get more money to play around with

Frey

From what I've been seeing, Frey's just keep going up in value. Good luck with the sale... that's a good deal. :)

I know...I could pick up one of his sneakies around here for $150 all day long about 3-4 years ago. Seems like people started to realize that his cues were so much like Scruggs cues and played so similarly. He has great workmanship and is such a great guy. Although they are going up in price, his cues are still a super bargain. Consider that Tim Scruggs now charges $1900 for a basic 4 point/4 veneer cue like this one.

Bobs work is as good as it gets. Any great cue maker says the same thing I use the same stuff as everybody else. But what they do with it is something else. Bob is one of a few cuemakers that makeing magic wands. You shoot a shot and look at your cue like did I do that!
NIKi I just might be lucky enough to get this one.

Kudos to the buyer. I'm very much a traditionalist where cues are concerned and that cue was/is damned sharp.

I totally agree, Guru. Nick got a really sharp cue. I know folks say it all the time, but the pictures REALLY didn't do this cue justice. It is gorgeous.

I said MAYBE I WILL GET LUCKY

Thanks Joel. Already a few AZers have sent pm''s or called. I just got it because it reminded me of my pretty little wifes eyes green and yellow and after all Bob made it! It should be a player. I sold one of those ts cues with searing mods to get it. I had two and one of my friends was wanting one real bad now everyone is happy Glad I could help out. Thanks for the deal his veneer cues will be 1000 in the next year watch!
