Here is one of the fanciest cues from Russ Espiritu that you will ever see. This cue was built entirely by Russ for a great pro player, Mike Gulyassy, who went on to become a great cue builder himself. This cue was used by pro-player and Mosconi Cup member, Mike Gulyassy in the mid 90's. Here is an email from Russ from several years ago:

Joe,
This is a 3 point cue made for Mike Guylassy.
He played a lot with it.

Russ,
I just picked up this cue that was made by you...I think it is the fanciest of
your cues I have ever seen. Can you tell me anything about this cue?
As always, thank you for your time.

This cue is hard to describe. The forearm is awesome birdseye, and the points and butt are some rich cocobolo. It has 3 cocobolo points , each with 5 veneers. In between each point are double spearheads of malachite with an ivory diamond between them. The cocobolo butt is loaded with inlays. The cue has a total of 96 inlays of ivory and malachite. The rings and butt are 12 inlays in each row. Russ built the custom JP's, and they have 16 inlays, plus the ivory rings in each of the three.
One shaft is original to the cue, and the second shaft is a newer Espiritu shaft...the ring on the newer shaft is ever so slightly thicker and it has a very slight taper roll, the original shaft is straight.
This cue is my oldest son's cue. He had Russ refinish it back in 2007, and it has seen light play since then, and has been locked up in a gun safe since 2008.
Butt is 15 3/4 oz
Shaft 1 3 3/4 oz, 12 3/4 ferrule diam
Shaft 2 4 1/4 oz, 12 3/4 ferrule diam
Look at the pix...they speak for the cue...
SOLD!! Thanks!
Joe
