i am willing to refund half the ammount right now, and this is more than most businesses would do, and i also know that i am not a business,, but i think it is fair for now. i understand that you are out money but i am also out money and a shaft. if i am using the postal service anytime from now on i will do the insurance and delivery confirmation as the buyers will also pay the actual shipping charges. i have never had a problem with the USPS and this has come to be the major problem i have had. please let me know if this is an acceptable offering until i hear more from the Consumer Affairs department. like i said, i understand your position, but please also understnad mine. i am not trying to screw you out of any money but i also have to cover myself. i bought a laptop off ebay about 5 years ago, $2500 Mac Powerbook. i never got it, and ebay told me "sorry, our "buy it now" feature does not protect you under our guidelines". i am leaving for Derby City this evening and will be checking my email while i am down there. as well, i sent you my phone number to give me a call if you would like to. i will give it to you again
