I am told it is very rare to see a TAD that has been signed.also i am told it is one of the highest TAD cues you can get??
PM me a offer

Joe Van could probably help here, but I've NEVER seen a Tad signed like that. This cue needs to be authenticated. IMO.

I have talking with Tad in person quite a few times in pass 5 years of BCA BILLIARD SHOW in Las Vegas, I have asked him to singed my cue, or the one he was going to make for me. He told me he never singed any of his cue FYI. Look like signed " Custom boy Tad" or "Custom Bay Tad". Is there any AZB memeber know TAD for long time can I. D. this cue with an Autograph?

I deff dont like it but why would someone defame a multi thousand dollar cue. He isnt getting much more. Is it under the finish or over.

Signed Tad Kohara

I have no problem with the cue being one of Tads. But I would like to have the signature authenticated !!

Looking at the U in custom, it looks like it is under the finish. I am still confused with the spelling of the second word. It makes no sense either way.

but if you look at the way the marker smears instead of soaks in i dont think its on plain wood. maybe in between. seems to me if he signed it it was like in vegas on the fly type thing. like an autograph

Hi there i was told by the ex owner of this cue this is the only TAD cue ever signed(i dont not no if this is true or not???)it is a autograph by the maker and is on top of the clear coat so it can be removed.

$6100 ono

Regardless if its Tads or not I would want it removed, that to me ruins such a beautiful cue with a horrific sig like that.

I'm not sure about the "very big tad", but I'm sure about the very big signature....too big for me, authentic or not.

What is the second word? Buy, big, boy?

So we have an amazingly great looking cue for sale with a misspelling of the word "BY"....... does that in anyway make it more rare...?

lol

Well one thing's for sure...

I can TOTALLY understand why he doesn't "sign" his cues. That is freakin' huge! :D Someone needs to buy him a new pack of superfine sharpies! Other than that, fantastic cue

Just venturing a guess here Hugh, but it probably is "buy" and Tad meant "by." English is not Tad's primary language and he likely is not very proficient in grammar. He was meaning "custom by Tad." The problem with wiping the signature off with alcohol, as you could with an automotive clear or UV clear, is that Tad still uses lacquer on his cues, so the cue might have to be refinished to remove the signature.
