I have a very nice 2008 Southwest style cue available from Andy Gilbert. This cue has some really sweet tulipwood in it, as well as some very nice birdseye. The maple and tulipwood SW style ringwork really accents the cue nicely. It also has a nicely executed brown leather wrap, and one shaft is a custom Predator shaft, finished off with a buckhorn ferrule. This cue is in very good condition, with a couple of extremely light bruises from play, and a bluing of the shafts.

Please note that the standard shaft is 30" and the buckhorn shaft is a 29.75" Predator shaft, making this a 59" cue.

Specifications:

-Butt: 15.0 ounces (weight can be added/removed), 29"
-Shaft 1: 3.7 ounces, 12.65mm, buckhorn ferrule, milk-dud tip, 29.75", Predator shaft
-Shaft 2: 3.9 ounces, 12.9mm, LBM, Triangle tip, 30"
-3/8x10 brass pinned, wood to wood joint with natural linen phenolic sleeve
-Natural linen phenolic joint collars with SW style maple/tulip stitch rings (A/B)
-Very nicely figured tulipwood forearm
-Four razor sharp, even birdseye points
-Natural linen phenolic rings above/below the wrap (C/D)
-Very nicely executed textured brown leather wrap
-SW style split butt sleeve of extremely nice tulipwood/birdseye
-SW style natural line phenolic maple/tulip stitch ringwork above the butt cap (E) and also separating the split of tulip/BE
-Natural linen phenolic butt cap
-Signed "Gilbert 08" between the points

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

I absolutely love this cue Joe! Did it originally have a third shaft that also had a buckhorn ferrule too?

The seller sold it to me with 2 shafts, one a 30" standard ferrule shaft, and one is a custom 29.75" Predator shaft with a buckhorn ferrule, which is what I have it listed on here for sale with. He was asking substantially more for the cue when he offerred it with an OB-1 shaft, which he wanted to keep as his player.

I was only interested in the cue with 2shafts. I did not need an OB-1 shaft, and did not want to pay extra for it. This way, a buyer does not have to pay for an OB-1 shaft that they don't want, especially since one shaft is already a Predator.

What you see is what you get. If you want to buy the cue with the original and Predator shaft, from me, that is good...then you can see if the original seller will sell you the OB-1.

It looks much better than the pix show. They came out dull due to it being a hazy day outside. The woods just almost sparkle at you, and the finish looks almost wet.

We might be able to work out a payment plan if there in=s no interest in the cue....

Sweet . . .

Love the wood combo, the rings and the overall look of this cue.
The wrap really makes it!

This one is one really sweet Andy Gilbert cue at a very reasonable price . . .

Good luck with sale Joe.

That would be great Joe but I am hoping you sell it, if not I would love it plus pay interest.

I have had a ton of trade offers, etc on this cue so far. I think I have answered all the PMs so far.

I am leaving for dinner and leagues and will get everything sorted out tonight when I get back from league play.

Thanks,
Joe
