Regrettably but unavoidably for sale. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer a stainless steel joint, therefore my prized possession is on the market. This was completely custom made to my specs so any questions I should be able to answer them promptly.
This cue hits like a dream and has perfect balance which can be proven by all the Viattorre owners out there. Not to mention possibly the best finish I have ever seen on a cue. Still has the new cue smell.

The specs are as follows:

Forearm: Tiger maple (natural stain)
Handle: Solid maple
Butt sleeve: Bocote butt sleeve
Butt cap: Hoppe style
Joint collar: Black Linen phenolic joint
Joint pin: Flat faced 5/16x14 Stainless steel
R. Bumper: Screw type
Wrap: Irish linen wrap color: White w/ Brown spec
B Rings: black/white phenolic rings x 4
Shaft: 2 solid maple shafts 12.6mm
Ferrule: 2 Ivorine III ferrules
Tip: 2 triangle tips
Approx. Weight: 19.7 oz
Length: 59 in.
Joint Caps: 3 pcs Custom bocote
Finish: PD Hi solid urethane
Forearm: 6 Bocote points with Ebony and Turquoise veneers

Asking $600 but will entertain all serious inquiries.

That is sort of the dilemma Bruce. I really need to go to a stainless steel joint and until then I'll just have to make due.
If anyone decides to buy this cue I can guarantee you will be amazed at the quality and play. Wood to wood is just not my feel :(

Nice cue, but I have similar tastes it turns out...I am sticking with my Schon's til I have Mr. Schick make me a SS jointed cue hopefully.

Shorty

I completely understand what you mean.... I think I am one of the only ones here that absolutely cannot stand the hit of an ivory joint.... I prefer ss as well.

WOW ???? Koop ur getting rid of some pretty good cues man, I cant believe you are getting rid of these cues. First the Sherbine and now the Viattorre??? You must have some new tricks up your sleeve :)

Via

I can't believe you are going to sell it after waiting a year for it.You might want to change the ferrule before you sell it.I bet if I taped over the joint you wouldn't know the difference. You are also not giving it enough time for you to get used to.I get more and more familar with my Via every day.Yeah it took a little while but it hits like no other cue i have ever owned or tried.I also switched to an Ivory ferrule rightbefore Jackson finished it.I believe the feel comes more form that and the Moori Med. then the joint.Don't do anything rash that you might regret in a few months.I dont know your money situation but if you can afford to keep it you should.
Take care ,
Bob :(

Hi Bob,

I know what you are saying and believe me, I thought about it for quite some time. Someone is getting a great cue but I need to go back to SS.

Regards,
Koop

In case anyone is also interested in a trade I would be willing to look at offers.
I would like a good custom cue (does not need to be fancy), approx. 19.7 oz, stainless steel joint with a slight forward balance.

If anyone is interested PM me and we can try to work something out.

Regards,
Koop

I'm willing to work something out with you. I'll buy from you or workout a trade. I'm sure I have a SS custom cue for you or a Schon if you like.

Give me few days as I'm still on vacation and will be returning early next week.
