Hi,
I have a just refinished early Adam Monte Carlo with 8 points and lots of inlays - rosewood, curly maple, ebony and mother of pearl.
Just got the cue back from Proficient Billiards where Scot Sherbine did a refinish and rewrap and built a new shaft for the cue with the original ringwork. I also have a second shaft with a black collar with silver ring.
Pics can be found on Proficient's site here:
http://www.proficientbilliards.com/cues/Adam/monte_carlo/index.html
Note the second shaft is not shown and some of the pics are a bit muted. If anyone is interested, I can take some additional pics. I've also spent some time hand buffing the cue to get even more luster on the finish.
I'm really not a big collector, so I'm honestly not sure how to price the cue. I'm interested in more info about it from the experts and offers from anyone who collects Adam cues or is otherwise interested in a fairly fancy, nice hitting cue.
Thanks,
J
