Wanted to post a couple of new "full splice" Gilberts. These have been on order since '05 and we are excited they are now ready...#3-#6 full splice blanks he has made himself. They are currently in transit from Clever, MO....Andy and Vicki are meeting up with us tomorrow for the trip up to VF. We can't wait to see these guys in person. :) Pics were huge and I resized them, so some of the details may be a little bit fuzzy.

We will have these and some other brand new Gilbert cues for the show, so look us up there. Everybody have a safe trip to PA. See you in a few days.

Sean

Yes, 2nd butt up goes with the bottom prong shot. The one with silver blue and red veneers is the bottom butt. Sorry they are out of sequence. The cue with blue/red veneers has no bumper and in its place an ivory disc engraved 'Gilbert 08'.

They are all ebony, but mine with the small amboyna "Budweiser crowns" looks like it might have some grain in it. Come to think of it. Jeff's fancy Hoppe does too. It may just be Andy's lighting and the backdrop.

or maybee shes got a sister?

very nice cant wait to see them.

I like them all. What is an email address Andy responds to? I would like to order one of these for myself. Sounds like he has a multi year wait, is that right?

Great cues Sean!!! Andy did a great job on my new Gilbert. He nailed the design I gave him and I could not be happier with the execution. It will be interesting to see what he has at the show.

3rd from the top

Feels like old school influence with the peacock. Maybe Schickesque. Andy's designs are original, yet they honor the past so well. Can't wait to see them at VF.

Sean, very nice stuff. :) :)

Look forward to you and the cues in just a few short days...............
