Sharp, perfectly even points, full splice, curly purpleheart, titlist veneers including real mahogany, ivory Hoppe ring, stainless steel joint with 5/16-14 stainless pin, ivory ferrules, thick nickel silver rings, and #7 of Jerry Rauenzahn's first phase of full spliced construction.

The PH wood is incredibly vivid with 3-D effects when you roll it back and forth. Mr. Jerry challenged himself to make a true full spliced cue with the same length of points from top to bottom as the old titlists, however, he moved it up closer to the joint so you can see the tight splice on the bottom joint if you choose to have a wrap.

Thank you Mr. Jerry!!!

Here is a view during construction comparing the length of points of an old Titlist and Jerry Rauenzahn's full splice.

Wow

Don't know what the price is on these, but if they're as reasonable as his other cues I am going to guess that they will be very popular. Beautiful work!!

Nice cue John !!
Jerry did an incredible job on that splice.
Have you ordered one with the half joint yet?
I know you were thinking about that.
Again nice cue from Jerry -R-:thumbup::thumbup:

nice looking full splice blank.

The points looks very even and the veneers look very clean. :thumbup2:

You're right, the points are perfectly even on top and bottom. The veneers are the tightest I've seen. No glue lines and this is only #7 of his first run.

One of the best full spliced blanks I have. I think Jerry -R- said he is making one a month, I may be wrong, but the cue is well worth the wait and price IMHO. Last time I counted only a handful of current day builders make their own full spliced blanks and finish their cues to specs for a customer.

One day these could be very, VERY collectable.

Beauty of a cue......

Very nice cue John -- Congrats to you and -R- for a fantastic fullspliced cue!!!

I'm guessing that it shoots really SWEET!?!?! I'm on the list and can't wait to get a chance to see it in progress too. I think Jerry is one of the BEST and he's just a helluva guy to work with on a cue without any doubts.

Hope You Enjoy this Special New Cue & Happy Holdiays,

Ken

Gotta say it

Many builders that are credited with building full splice cues did not build full splice cues. They had handles in their cues and because the forearm extended under the wrap they were and are acclaimed full splice builders. I have always thought this. If the proing wood stops before the bottom end of the wrap you can call it what you want but it aint no true full splice butt.
How builders use a V grove under the wrap and proclaim full splice has always puzzled me. This is an example of a pure and true full splice.
All that other crap is just propaganda. If you bought it you deserve to own it.
I am not taking anything away from any of the best builders that proclaim they build full splice cues. They may have a full splice just not a full splice butt.
Did Burton Spain ever do anything like this? Is there a example anywhere of a wrapless cue he built where it is full spliced entire butt not just forearm??
If the handle is cut any where it just is wrong to call the cue full spliced.
NIce full spliced cue Mr John,
Nick :)

wow is the only thing i can say about this cue looks stunning, i really cant wait to get my new one to add to the collection:bow-down::bow-down::bow-down:
