Full splice vs full core

The best answer you could get. There's so much more involved in what makes a cue the end result you "experience" than either of those considerations.
A crappy cue can be made out of very high grade raw materials. Likewise, a very well made cue's feel & performance can fall well outside of one person's comfort zone vs another's.

I have tons of respect for a cue maker that can make a cored cue play with the feel and feedback of a good sneaky. That is no small accomplishment.

Being someone who has no clue how a cue is built, but a person that has owned over 200 cues many which were made by some of the greatest cue makers that ever lived (Searing, Ernie, Tasc, Mobley, Showman, Stroud.....) I have always liked the hit and feel of the non full splice cues over the 30 or so full splice cues I have owned. I am sure that is probably more a function of how those cues were built but I thought I would just weigh in from a players perspective.

Take Care

A well made cue will always hit good, however I am always partial to full splice cues, I like them the best:thumbup:
