Funny gaff bet cut shot

Saw this one the other night courtesy of Paul Oh.
With the CB hanging in the hole, cut the OB into the corner.

Obviously it's a very thin cut and a tough shot.
So it's not a challenge you'd lay down to a C player.

But what's not so obvious is that the shot has has multiple built in kisses and scratches.
You often kiss after the first rail. You can sometimes beat that kiss only to have the
CB rebound after the 2nd long rail and ruin the shot. And then you can scratch in the side.

Took me like 5-7 tries before I made it with firm outside spin. I'm sure you can beat it
with other englishes too. But it seems like if you cinch it with just top you're doomed.

He was giving people 5 tries, which I think is pretty likely to get the cash.

i practice that shot from time to time but start with the cue ball on the same line but in front of the pocket a few inches
i can make it with just follow

i also practice the ball on the spot and the cue ball at the first diamond above the corner pocket and try to back cut the object ball into the corner pocket
the opposite corner from the cue ball

You don't need anything other than straight draw. I used to get that shot and it had 2 parts. Making the ball and the cue ball wouldn't pass the side pocket. Good shot to learn.
