Something fishy here. What are the odds someone would video tape the exact moment you drive your car into the water?

Maybe the driver was looking at the photographer? (But if he knew he was being taped, would he blame a non-existant bird?)

Was he alone in the car? Maybe this was a collision between a Hummer and a Bugatti...

I just saw this on CNN Headline news too. And the Pelican Brief excuse card was played.

Honestly, anyone who drives one of these things has got to be used to people filming and taking pictures constantly, they are just that rare. It's not every day you see a Bugatti Veyron driving around. In fact, I've never seen one driving around and I'm a car nut. About the best I've ever seen was a Ferrari Enzo... and I made my kid pose for a picture next to it. lol.

There were only a couple hundred of the Veyrons made and 10, uhh make that 9, in the US.

There's a guy around here with a Diablo. It's a rare car where I'm from. So he used to show up at the street ricer hangouts and rev his engine. What's interesting is that one of his favorite hobbies was to grab one of the little teeny bopper chicks that would be ogling his car and take her out for 15 min "rides." Now I'm not entirely positive what what happened in the car during these little outings, but the word on the street goes........
