This more like a riddle, but the same reason why you might not get it is the joke.

I was at the Cheyenne Frontiers Days rodeo years ago with my family. The bull riding event was underway. The bull comes out of the chute bucking and then suddenly just topples over. It is failing around on the ground furiously. Obviously a broken leg. The rodeo cowboys lasso the bull up and drag him out of the arena.

The announcer comes on and talks about how the local veterinary staff is first rate and will fix the bull right up and get him better (lots of city folks from Denver in the crowd).

Just as he says this - BLAM!
