^^^^^ He could be talking about the weather here in Montana ha ha it's a brisk -14 below zero the last time I checked the wind hasn't shown up yet or it would be worse ha ha !

Just to add a little something , the weatherman is calling for temps down near - 50 before Christmas I'm starting to get home sick for the High Line of Montana where I grew up ha ha
They claim this will last for a week then it's going to warm up into above zero temps again .
And yes this is cold enough to freeze the balls off the pool table there's a small snow drift from the doggy door to the pool table as a matter of fact !

This is the kind of weather that when I was a kid we'd convince other kids to try to lick a flag or cloths line pole in ha ha
When I worked on water wells and windmills I'd expect service calls to come in during the worse weather a few times when I'd break the pipe joints and the water would spray all over it would hit my coat and fall off because it was already frozen ! True story !
I don't miss those days one bit !

Couple things about extreme cold that those unfamiliar with it have trouble understanding
We got freezing rain before our last snow. Then wet sleet/snow mix then snow. So there is ice under the snow on roads but these bitter temperatures will evaporate the ice.
Snow is still crusty but will crystallize and with the wind can cause ground blizzards.
