My first pet was a cat , who became pure hell on wheels to mice , gophers and any bird he could catch !
On of his favorite spots to wait for birds to ambush was a bird nest near the top of the tree in the front yard , he would sit motionless waiting for a bird to fly by and he'd take a swing at it with one of both front paws ! To the best of my knowledge he was not successful from up in the nest .
A few times he nearly reached to far which would've been a 20' fall to the ground .
Before he vanished he weighted nearly 22 lbs of pure hunting machine !
